When is a trilogy not a trilogy

I have finished the  third book in my ‘Unbroken Bond Series’ . I read it out to my husband , with at the end, yes correct, cuckoo clockthe epilogue. What about Thomas ? he asked. Thomas? Yes after all he was the last one to speak with Esther ? Well Thomas you obviously need to play a big part in the next book. So much for writing a trilogy

  1. If you do write a fourth book, Elisabeth, perhaps you could follow the example of Douglas Adams, who called his book, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, A Trilogy In Four Parts: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Life, the Universe and Everything, and So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish. I am sure readers of your trilogy will not mind if it is in four or even more parts. Good luck with the third book in your trilogy, anyway.
